With an exclusive special-edition jersey, we honor one of the most significant eras in the city’s history and build a bridge from the time of the Fuggers and the Renaissance to the present day. The surface of the jersey is completely designed with the Fugger family’s lily crest. The crest itself and the sponsor logos evoke the elegant copper tone associated with the copper trade, which the Fugger family expanded throughout Europe, particularly under Jakob Fugger. The collar and sleeve cuffs add carefully chosen color accents: pink refers to the ceiling frescoes of the mausoleum in St. Anna, blue and yellow represent the Fugger family colors, while burgundy and dark green are associated with FCA’s club colors. The Fugger crest proudly adorns the back of the neck, and on the back, the inscription “FUGGERSTADT” replaces the usual designation “FC Augsburg.”
