If not now, retro, then when? In the 1965/66 season, BVB crowned itself the first German European Cup winner with a 2–1 extra-time victory over Liverpool FC in the European Cup Winners' Cup. The design of the 25/26 men's cup jersey is therefore also inspired by a retro look. Bright yellow, a retro logo, and an otherwise rather classic design make the men's jerseys shine under the floodlights. The players will wear the jersey during their UEFA Champions League matches. The retail version features the Dortmund lettering at the top of the back.
The major highlight of the cup jersey is the material from which it is made. Innovative RE:FIBRE technology creates new fabric from unused polyester. Old becomes new—again and again!
